Biography

I work at the confluence of political ecology and legal geography. I specifically study the legal and environmental histories of surface coal mine reclamation in Pennsylvania. My work also deals with critical restoration studies, critical political economy, and critical legal studies. In the past, I have worked on questions about belonging and identity in museums and the relationships between tourism and infrastructure in Māohi Nui/French Polynesia.
