Biography

My overarching research interests pertain to the impacts that climate change will have on coastal wetlands. These ecosystems are incredibly valuable to humans, yet their position at the interface of land and sea makes them highly susceptible to a number of natural and anthropogenic forces. Climate change impacts, such as increasing temperatures, accelerated sea level rise, and intensifying coastal storms all play a role in the fate of these ecosystems. I seek to uncover the ecological implications associated with these climate change impacts. Currently, my work puts me at the intersection of ecology and geography, with increasing interest in remote sensing and applications to coastal wetland management.
