NASA Awards Universities Funding That May Support Moon to Mars

The UCLA Geography Department, through Professor Marilyn Raphael’s collaboration with colleagues at University of Texas, San Antonio, will be a part of NASA’s award to universities that may support the moon to Mars project.

The UTSA group has been awarded a Center grant for ~$3 million dollars, some of which will be used to fund  and host students at UCLA who will work on projects directed by Professor Raphael.
