Ph. D., University of Wisconsin, 1958: Professor. Cartography. Remote Sensing, and Europe. Research in the contemporary and historical aspects of cartography, including studies of ortho-photomapping and landmark maps. Other interests include the cultural aspects of geography and the history of geographical exploration.
